ABOUT
MJT Consulting, LLC is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) public relations firm located in Sparks, Nevada. With over a decade of experience in the transportation and construction industries, MJT discovers ways to creatively bridge the communication gap between public agencies and the meaningful work they do, with the communities they impact. MJT has successfully led public outreach efforts on some of northern Nevada's most prominent projects by focusing on information-sharing methods.

Meet Our Team
McKenna Temen
McKenna started MJT Consulting in 2021 with the desire to deliver transparent public relations and outreach campaigns that create a more meaningful connection with the community. She has worked with a variety of local and state agencies, managed small press events to large-scale conferences, and is a certified workshop facilitator. Her expertise includes a wide range of expectations from facilitating workshops in planning studies, understanding outreach requirements for environmental processes, expressing community concerns during design, and proactively engaging the public during construction.

When she isn't focusing on her work, McKenna can be found spending time with her family and friends (preferably out camping), planning out her next home renovation project, or nose-deep in a good book.
Lauren Ball
Lauren has more than a decade of public outreach, communications, public relations, and marketing experience, including more than seven years working in the public sector for local and regional government agencies in northern Nevada. Before joining MJT Consulting, she directed and executed award-winning communications and public outreach efforts for the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County’s transit system, metropolitan planning organization, and construction projects. She's also worked on major special events in the northern Nevada area, including the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off, where she planned the rib-eating competition featuring celebrity major league eaters. As a former TV news reporter, she is passionate about storytelling and strives to make information simple, interesting, accessible, and transparent.
